You are so young still and have the rest of your life ahead of you. I work full time and I’m turning 20 this year and STILL a freshman in college. It stresses me out sometimes to think that others from my graduating class will be juniors in college come this fall but I constantly have to remind myself that my life path isn’t theirs and it never will be.

No matter what happens, don’t allow what others choose to do with their lives make you change the way you feel about your own progress. You’re an amazing young woman and it seems to me like you’re not giving yourself enough credit where it’s due. I know I live halfway across the country abs I’ve only met you once but just know I can relate to what you’re going through right now and you’ll make it through this. Don’t give up on your dreams and don’t let anyone - not even yourself - tell you that you can’t. Just know what you want and pursue it like there’s nothing else on earth. You’ll get there in your own time. The struggle is figuring out exactly what that is. Just keep working towards the things you love and find a way to being them together. It may take years but it will be worthwhile in the end. You’re still very young and figuring out who you are and what you want so don’t feel rushed into picking a vocation just to settle for something. The most worthwhile things in life are hard to come by.
